After my darling teenager went off to school, I walked to the Jewel. Here is what I got:
4 Perdue Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (about $4.60 each) $18.20 - $4.10 Instant discount for Fav 4 $12.10
3 bottles of Kens salad dressing honey mustard (great as a dipping sauce or marinade $3.00 ($1/ea)
1 large tub of country crock $2.99
I used 3 $1/1 coupons for the dressing (FREE dressing)
and I paid $16.28 ish
I also received 2 stamps toward getting nice cookware CHEAP.
Jewel is running a promotion right now. For every $10 (and it must be at least $10 they won't round up) pre coupon you spend you get 1 stamp. You save these stamps and once you have enough you can redeem them on various pieces of cookware. I have my eye on the square griddle which costs $.01 and 90 stamps. Its alot, but if you enlist the help of family and friends you may just get enough.
This will run through 01/12/2011. Stamp Books are located at the display or sometimes the cashiers may have them.
Next stop was Walgreens, where I got:
2 24 count benadryl tablets $9.98 ($4.49/ea)
1 14pc mens hair clipper set $14.99 (on clearance)
Used a $3 off 2 benadryl coupons
paid about $21.20 and got back
$5 Register Reward (which I will be taking to Jewel tonight).
My final trip will be later. I will go back to Jewel and...
2 Sauza Tequilas $19.98
10 2 ltrs Dr. Pepper (don't judge me, lol) $10
1 Tide Stain Release $3.64 Clearance
1 pack of El Monterey burritos $4.99
1 Di Giorno Pizza for 1 $3.50 ish
Total $42.11
minus $10 (2 $5/1 Sauza coupons)
minus $10 (1 $5 register reward from earlier, 1 $5 OYNO)
minus $4.99 ($5/1 El Monterey coupon will probable be adjusted down)
minus $3.50 (free Di Giorno coupon)
minus $3.00 ($3/1 Tide stain release)
I will pay around $10.62 plus tax and earn 4 stamps towards my pan.
"$5 Register Reward (which I will be taking to Jewel tonight)."
ReplyDeleteYou can use RR's at Jewel?! Sorry if this is common couponer knowledge, i'm just happy that i started finding blogs that cover Jewel and Dominicks.
yes Jewel takes RR's. Some Dominick's do as well though I would ask at the customer service desk at Dom's if that one takes them!
