Free Movies

If you know me, you would know I look for any excuse to go downtown (I love Chicago). One fun and cheap thing I like to do is catch a pre screen movie. That is a movie you watch in a theater BEFORE it is released for the general public. Sometimes a star or two from the movie will be there. My favorite site is

I find if I sign up right when they announce a giveaway for tickets I will win 9 times out of 10. This is why it would be a good idea to get on their emailing list. I have won tickets to movies for kids and adults. I have even won TV show preview tickets. Well worth the couple minutes it takes to enter. The movies I have seen are mainly in the River North theater.

Now if you are not in chicago but you live near another major city just plug "your city" and pre screen movies into a search engine to find some near you.
