Good Deals at Fairplay, Dominicks and Jewel

None of the following totals involve tax

Fairplay runs their sale from wed to tues. I am not sure if they take internet printables there but I will find out tomorrow.

Red Gold Ketchup is $.58. This is a great price for ketchup This price is effective untill Aug 31st so plenty of time to find a coupon to make the deal even sweeter.

Ocean Spray Cranberry Cocktails or Drinks $1.88 each Limit 3.

Hills Bros Coffee $5.99 and there is a $.75/1 coupon from a past Sunday insert available the expires 8/31/10

6 Oz Package of mini donuts (assorted flavors) $1.00

Betty Crocker cake mix is 10/$10 and the frosting is 2/$3 PLUS there is a coupon from a past Sunday insert for $.75 off when you buy a cake mix AND a frosting. So That would be $2.50 for cake and frosting minus the $.75 coupon which puts you at $1.75 for cake mix and frosting. Not to bad if you need it.

Pillsbury Simply Buttermilk Biscuit 2/$3 (Pillsbury's "Simply" line seems to be more natural then their standard line) I will be getting these to try them out.

Now this is obviously not a complete list of their sales ad but it does represent some of the better deals.
I will get
1 Ocean spray Juice $1.88
1 lb of Slicing Tomatos $.78/Lb
1 lb yellow squash $.88
1 lb zucchini squash $.88
1 lb broccoli $.78
Total OOP $5.20

At Dominick's (Safeway) they have free Tide Stain Release again (I did this last week) first load the tide stain release e coupon from pgesaver (see e coupons post
http://commoncentswithcoupons.blogspot.com/2010/08/dominicks-safeway-and-e-coupons.html ) then if you have previous weeks Sunday coupons use a $3.00/1 manufacturer coupon or print it from here (you can print twice just hit the back button a couple times) and finally use the Dominicks coupon from the ad. This brings the stain release to $5.98 - $3.00 e coupon - $3.00 manufacturer coupon equals free stain release. I am addicted to this stuff and this deal seems to come around every so often so start hunting tide coupons (Dominicks takes expired coupons back 1 year).

this is what I will do

4 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks $.99/ea $3.96 minus $1.00 e coupon and 2 $.50/2 manufacture coupons $1.96
4 Sweet and Salty Nature Valley Granola $1.49 each $5.96 minus 2 $.75/1 e coupons and 2 $.75/1 manufacturer coupon $2.96
1 Pillsbury Sweet Moments ($1.00 e coupon) and $1.00 manufacturer coupon from the Sunday inserts
or from http://www.coupons.com/ and Dominicks Store coupon from the ad equals Free
2 Pillsbury Refrigerated Cookie Dough Use same Dominicks coupon from sweet moments $3.98 Minus 2 $1/2 e coupons and 1 $1/2 manufacturer coupon equals $.98

So OOP I will have spent $5.90 and I will get back a $2.00 OYNO Catalina (for buying 4 fuit snacks) AND a $2.50 OYNO catalina (for buying the sweet and salty granola

Now I will add the $4.50 in OYNO catalinas from above and my $12 in Register Rewards from Walgreens and my $1.00 OYNO from a previous trip over to my local Jewel

Off the top I have $17.50 in catalinas so to end up paying for my groceries (aside from tax)I will have to buy $17.51 or more lets see what we get.

I will get
1 Cantaloupe $.99
1 LB Black Grapes $.99
3 Lipton Tea 1.5 Ltr $.88/each $2.64 minus a $2/3 coupon I got buying mayo $.64
1 Wild Harvest Organic Romaine Hearts $1.99
2 Cucumbers $1
4 Corn on the Cob $1
1 gallon of chocolate milk $3.99
So I am at $10.60 plus tax
I pay with $10.50 in OYNO catalinas
OOP $.10 plus tax

So all three shops
Fairplay $5.20
Dominicks $5.90
Jewel $.10

Total $11.20 for the week and I still have $7.00 in OYNO catalinas I can use later in the week (if needed)
Now the $6 plus tax got me some junk food, after school snacks, juice, my chocolate milk and lots of fruits and veggies I even got my organic lettuce. Now the reason I get to spend so little is I stock up on those things I use when they are on sale. I try and allow myself one or more months worth of product.
