Fire Lovie!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I know money blah blah, Cheaper to keep him. I disagree, we Bears fans have stuck with this team through some incredibly bad years. We hang on to the image of the '85 Bears Superbowl Shuffling their way into America's heart. We pray one day our team can bring the pride back to this great city (Like our beloved Blackhawk's did with the Stanley Cup). BUT fans are tired. We are tired of Urlacher being hurt and quickly aging! We are tired of seeing our Defense from go from the BEST in the league to the Laughing Stock of the league (Cover-Who?). We are tired of seeing you trading or dropping important pieces to our superbowl win (Mike Brown). Mostly we are tired of seeing our team go from a superbowl appearance to (Jim Mora Voice) playoffs, playoffs?.
Why do I blame Lovie for the demise of my beloved team? Simply put if you go back to our superbowl appearance. We not only had a QB who totally tanked in the big game (such an understatement), we had a coach that refused to pull him. It has all been downhill from there. I do not believe the players buy into this system. Our defense is practically non existent with only glimpses of their former greatness. Our offense is a joke. Even in a sports town like Sweet Home Chicago, the fans will get tired of paying a small fortune to see a lackluster team. Season ticket holders will decide that it just isn't worth it anymore.
There shouldn't be job security when you fail at your job. Where do they do that at, aside from the Government? If I worked at a bank and lost every deposit given to me, I would deserve to be fired and jailed. Yet, we kept Lovie cause we would have to "buy him out" of his contract. Huh?
Anyways, I will continue to cheer my Bears on and I will end this rant as only a fan could.
