This is something I learned from my family. They are huge Black Friday Shoppers. They wear matching costumes with a different theme every year and always head downtown to the Mag Mile for a day of family, shopping and fun. Before heading downtown, however, they employ the divide and conquer strategies with the door busters that are closer to home. One of the cousins may hit the toys r us, another will be at best buy. While at their given store they buy for everyone who wants from that store. For example, pretend toys r us has the newest coolest must have xmas toy. Cousin A who is at the store may buy 5 so that all the family who wanted that item can get it. Cousin B will be at best buy to get that Disney blue ray for $5, they too will buy enough for everyone that wants one. So on and so forth.
This can be applied to Grocery Shopping too. Say you want to do a cereal deal at store x, but you have to get 10 to get the deal. Get 4-5 friends and family members to pool together and do the deal. Say you have a bunch of diaper e coupons and paper coupons but no baby, get them for your friend/family who needs it. In return, have them get in on the pet food deals for you. That way everyone wins. I have a bff (Hey Marissa) who will get in on a deal for me when I can't and vice versa. Remember those wonderful Aloe socks Walgreens had free after register reward. Well every store within a 30 mile radius of me was sold out. Marissa was able to find some, so she did the deal for me. So working together we really do get a lot more done then trying to do it all yourself.
Do y'all got any shopping tricks that you would share?
