When I got my first droid phone, many moons ago, I was introduced to Project Gutenberg. This is a group that puts,mostly classical, books into electronic format. There are many formats to choose from including Kindle. They are totally free to download, but they do accept donations if you like what they do. Go here and dig around see what books you can find. I got The Inventions of the Idiot by John Kendrick Bangs (Yes I am a bookworm, lol). The title is what drew me in, lol.
