So I have enjoyed my cooking holiday and am officially junk fooded out (j/k) so I will be cooking tonight. I think I will make a roast and I am going to cheat! I am going to use some frozen stew veggies instead of chopping them fresh. I know, I know I had a two day break and still I am lazy. What can I say but "Don't hate, emulate!" lol I am also going to make biscuits from scratch with the free bisquick from Dominicks.
For my pot roast I use red wine, beef bouillon, lots of herbs/spices and water to make a nice gravy. I slow cook it all day so it is tender, and I put the veggies in the whole time. I don't really use recipes except at a general guide so I do not have measurements, unfortunately.
We will have leftovers. I am thinking of making a pot roast hash for breakfast tomorrow.
What can I turn the pot roast into for Day 2 dinner so that it can be considered a "new" meal?
