So this issue of Woman's Day (from a FREE subscription) has an article about making money online. Some of their ideas were obvious but others were new to me.
One of the more obvious ideas was to sell your craft online. Like if you crochet blankets or make jewelry sell it through you blog or many different websites designed for that purpose like www.etsy.com. If you are a "crafty" type person you also may want to get a booth at local craft shows. I remember my mom doing this when I was young to help pull in extra money.
If your talent lay in other areas a website like www.fiverr.com may be for you. You offer you services to other folks for $5. The website gets $1 and you keep $4.
Are you a nurse, if so you can be "on call" with a company like www.fonemed.com which provides phone based medical information as well as triage to customers in the US and Canada. You must be licensed This is an excellent way to make money at home if you have this skill set.
There are sites for freelance writers, editors and filmmakers like www.demandstudios.com and www.associatedcontent.com
One site that I am a member of, but do not actively work is www.elance.com post many different work at home opportunities that you can bid on and work if chosen.
Are you a math wiz, or English major. Well you can go to http://www.tutor.com/ and sign on to tutor kids as an independent contractor.
There is a site called www.justanswer.com that will pay you to answer questions that it's customers are willing to pay for.
Stay tuned tomorrow for more work from home opportunities! What sites do y'all use to make money and how?
